We are all excited about Turkey Day (or Chicken Day as my daughter calls it!) around here! I am not sure how Thanksgiving will go for us this year. Last year when I set the turkey on the table my daughter (who had been sitting at the table making a racket begging for dinner to hurry up) announced that the turkey was her friend and she was not eating it! So I took the the turkey back into the kitchen, sliced it up, put it on a plate and told her it was chicken. Since we will be having dinner at my cousins house I am not sure what will happen. Should be fun!

Don’t feel like being outside in our record heat? Take the kids to the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum. Honestly, I am not at all into fishing and I found it really interesting. It is amazingly high tech and hands on!
